James Suk

Chief Executive Officer

James Suk is Tax Services leading the engagements for technology tax credit recovery of Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) and Interactive Digital Media Tax Credits (IDMTC) as well as numerous non-dilutive funding. His primary responsibilities include management of the technology advisory team, project scoping and qualifying of claims and grants in the IT, cleantech and life science sectors. Broad experience in the areas of early stage seed, angel investing with E-Fund and VANTEC has shaped the technology advisory expertise and relationships within the tech startup community.

James holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) at the University of British Columbia. James is a committed traveler and avidly enjoys the indoors. James had been a long time board supporter of youth agencies in the last 20 years and was active in Social Venture Partners (SVP Vancouver).

Sang-Do Han

Chief Financial Officer

Sang-Do’s background includes 20 years of diverse sales experience with vast expertise in real estate, hotel, and hospitality management. He was previously the CFO of HNL Enterprise Ltd, company that exported merchandise to South East Asia.

Having lived in US and Canada majority of his life, Sang-Do closes valuable cultural and language gap for Korean investors and companies. As a CFO of Lyceum Ventures, he is responsible for managing due diligence on Lyceum investments and strategic engagements with foreign portfolio company executives. Within Lyceum’s portfolio, his focus areas include growth strategy, pricing and operational support including data analytics.

Sang-Do graduated from University of Victoria with Economics degree. He resides in Vancouver, Canada.

Phil Hwang

Chief Marketing Officer

Phil Hwang has started his career as an investment advisor at ING Direct in Dallas, Texas. He has added a real estate segment into his career in Canada. His strength comes with strong network connections with Korean investment groups and private bankers using his public relations back ground at ACU in Texas.

In Early career, his role as an investment advisor involved how to diversify their funds for retirement. Moving to Canada and developing his career includes real estate, development, franchise, and startups, diversifying and advising into more fields. Creating a new field with total investment management; funding, financing, franchising, real estate, startups, development. Currently he resides in Vancouver, Canada.
